REBNJB INC is an integrated systems and program design practice based on A1 Peak Circle in Heber City, Utah. We engineer the backcountry trail networks, mountain property access, seasonal field crews, gear fleets and camp infrastructure that keep outdoor enterprises safe, lean and on schedule from the first snowmelt to the last frost of every season.

The mountain economy does not wait for fair weather. Trail crews must be on the ground before the thaw; access must hold through spring runoff and winter plow months; fleets must start on the first cold morning; and camps must shelter crews through long nights above the valley floor. Our role is to turn those competing demands into one coordinated operating system, documented route by route, so every part of the enterprise moves on the same calendar and the same standard. From the base of A1 Peak Circle we survey real terrain, model real seasons and deliver plans a field team can actually run.

Field Routes We Design, Build and Run

REBNJB INC plans mountain operations the way a guided expedition plans a crossing, one named route at a time. Every engagement begins with a ground survey and a season calendar, and every route ends in a maintained, staffed and scheduled field system with its own documentation and safety protocol. The five route categories below span the whole operations cycle, from the alignment of a backcountry trail to the winterizing of a fleet and the raising of a high camp shelter. We treat each one as part of a single connected system rather than a loose list of projects.

Underpinning all of it is a consistent method. We establish the physical baseline with surveying and mapping, sequence the work against the weather windows only the high country allows, size the crews and equipment to the task, and close each route with training, manuals and a maintenance cycle the client can sustain without us on site. Because the terrain never gives a second chance, every deliverable is checked against the realities of snow load, drainage, fire access and emergency egress before it is handed over in final form.

Backcountry Trail Program Design

We map trail corridors across varied terrain and grade each section for drainage, sustainable use and safety, balancing sightlines with the natural line of the land. Our team sets tread specifications for climbing turns, outslope, creek crossings and approach grades, then adds the closures, reroutes and signage that protect fragile alpine ground. Every route leaves the drawing board with a full construction sequence, an annual maintenance calendar, a volunteer and crew work plan, and a documented safety review that covers weather windows, hazards and emergency response from trailhead to ridgeline.

Mountain Property Access Planning

Reaching a home or operation on steep private ground is a matter of easements, utilities, plowing and year round reachability, not simply a driveway. REBNJB INC designs access alignments that hold up under spring mud and winter storms, pinches off damaging pinch points, plans crossing structures and drainage so runoff never undermines the surface, and coordinates gate and lockback systems with utility, fire and delivery corridors. The result is a documented access matrix showing how the site stays reachable in every season, in every weather event and for every emergency vehicle that may need to answer a call.

Seasonal Crew Logistics

A field crew is only as strong as the schedule that holds it together from the first hire to the final day of the season. We build recruiting pipelines timed to certification windows, rotation schedules that protect off days, transport runs coordinated to trailheads, and camp and meals plans that keep bodies fueled and heads clear at altitude. Every roster and calendar carries embedded safety checkpoints, gear issue rosters, emergency rota ties and a clear chain of command, so the whole team knows where it stands from one thundering storm to the next without losing a day of work.

Equipment Fleet Planning

Snowmobiles, side-by-sides, tracked rigs and trail builders all break down without a maintenance spine behind them, and a machine down at a ridgeline is more than an inconvenience, it can be a rescue. We define fleet composition to match the actual workload, set shop scheduling and parts inventories so no common failure waits on a courier, and build winterization and replacement cycles that extend the working life of every unit. Each machine carries a service log and a seasonal readiness plan, so equipment starts when the opening bell rings and stays down no longer than the calendar allows.

Camp and Shelter Site Development

Base camps, backcountry huts and tender stations each demand careful siting, power, water, waste handling and a layout that shrugs off the weather. REBNJB INC plans platform and structure placement to shed snow and catch light, sets utility trusses for water supply, sewage handling and containment, and arranges generator and solar runs that power gear rooms, kitchens and crew quarters through the whole alpine season. We site every structure clear of avalanche sheds and runoff lines, keep fire safe clearings around tent pads and heat sources, and lay out the camp so a crew can live and work in it safely from first access to last strike of the season.
